Students who complete this Pack Teach Program will earn two degrees: the Bachelor of Arts in Education/Secondary Education and the Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. This program provides students with a foundational background in Spanish linguistics, literature and culture. Students who successfully complete the program are prepared to pursue secondary school teaching, graduate school, or an immediate career using Spanish.
Spanish majors will develop an understanding of the Spanish language and culture, including taking specific courses in Hispanic, Chicano and Latino culture. Then they take courses specifically designed to help them become excellent educators.
Spanish graduates have gone on go to excel in a wide range of exciting fields, including:
- Translation/interpretation
- Law enforcement
- Teaching at all levels, from elementary to graduate, including teaching English abroad

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 To be admitted to an undergraduate degree program as a regular freshman student, you must be a graduate from an approved or accredited high school (GED certificate may not be used for admission). Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 61 (iBT-Internet-Based Test) or 500 (Paper-Based Test), International English Language Testing System (IELTS - must be academic version) with an equivalency score of 6. Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with an equivalency score of 57.
