Students who complete this Pack Teach Program will earn two degrees: the Bachelor of Arts in Education/Secondary Education and the Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. This program provides students with a broad background in sociology. Students who successfully complete the program are prepared to pursue secondary school teaching, graduate school, or an immediate career in the field of social studies.
Sociology majors take courses in race, gender and diversity, social change, social institutions, methods and applied statistics, and have opportunities to complete internships or do research with faculty for academic credit.
Sociology graduates have gone on to succeed in a variety of careers, including:
- Program evaluation research
- Domestic violence victims advocate
- Sales and marketing analyst
- Teaching at all levels, from elementary to graduate, including teaching English abroad

為來自中國的學生設計 To be admitted to an undergraduate degree program as a regular freshman student, you must be a graduate from an approved or accredited high school (GED certificate may not be used for admission). Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 61 (iBT-Internet-Based Test) or 500 (Paper-Based Test), International English Language Testing System (IELTS - must be academic version) with an equivalency score of 6. Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with an equivalency score of 57.
