This program provides students with a foundational background in French linguistics, literature and culture. Students who successfully complete the program are prepared to pursue secondary school teaching, graduate school, or an immediate career using French.
What do French/Education majors study?
French majors will develop an understanding of the French language and culture, including taking specific courses in linguistics and literature. Then they take courses specifically designed to help them become excellent educators.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To be admitted to an undergraduate degree program as a regular freshman student, you must be a graduate from an approved or accredited high school (GED certificate may not be used for admission). Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 61 (iBT-Internet-Based Test) or 500 (Paper-Based Test), International English Language Testing System (IELTS - must be academic version) with an equivalency score of 6. Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with an equivalency score of 57.
