The criminal justice major broadly focuses on the various components of the criminal justice system, criminological theory and issues of diversity, mythology and ethics. Students attracted to the program are interested in a variety of careers including criminal justice, behavioral science, politics and treatment services.
Criminal justice examines the actions of policing and law enforcement agencies, the judicial system and correctional agencies. The Department of Criminal Justice welcomes a diverse student body and encourages its students to explore the full range of opportunities in criminal justice and justice-related professions and graduate programs. Our students perform critical evaluation of how the administration of justice actually operates in American society.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 To be admitted to an undergraduate degree program as a regular freshman student, you must be a graduate from an approved or accredited high school (GED certificate may not be used for admission). Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 61 (iBT-Internet-Based Test) or 500 (Paper-Based Test), International English Language Testing System (IELTS - must be academic version) with an equivalency score of 6. Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with an equivalency score of 57.
