The economics major offered at the College is designed to prepare students for positions as economic and statistical analysts in business, government and nonprofit organizations, and for the teaching profession. In addition, it provides a strong foundation for graduate study and research in the fields of economics, business, public policy and law.
Learning outcomes
With a bachelor's degree in economics, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate mastery of fundamental business knowledge and practices.
- Possess analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Effectively communicate within a business environment.
- Use information technology to support business analysis and operations.
- Recognize, evaluate and resolve ethical issues, both personally and organizationally.
- Develop a global business perspective and will have the knowledge and skills to conduct business internationally.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To be admitted to an undergraduate degree program as a regular freshman student, you must be a graduate from an approved or accredited high school (GED certificate may not be used for admission). Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 61 (iBT-Internet-Based Test) or 500 (Paper-Based Test), International English Language Testing System (IELTS - must be academic version) with an equivalency score of 6. Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with an equivalency score of 57.
