The bachelor of fine arts in studio art is the perfect fit for students who desire to explore their creative side while pursuing a degree. Students in studio art are educated in drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, photography and mixed media. They can then use their abilities to produce and/or curate art for public spaces, galleries, and museums.
The bachelor of fine arts in studio art requires a total of 122 hours. Some of the courses students can expect to take in this degree program include the following:
Three-Dimensional Design Two-Dimensional Design Ceramics Basic Digital Photography Art History Figure Drawing Sculpture
Learning Goals
Students will be able to communicate orally, visually and in written form to support a visual art or design decision. Students will understand art in terms of its civic and ethical impact. Students critically analyze visual design problems, synthesize information and create pieces with corresponding written or oral language to support their outcomes. Students employ traditional art techniques and technological knowledge necessary to work in the art and design community. Students use the tools and technology related to their specific concentration, and will acquire an informed voice as it pertains to art history.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students must have official transcripts listing courses, examinations, grades, and marks from your high school or college/university. A score of 500 or higher on the written TOEFL, A score of 173 or higher on the computerized TOEFL, A score of 61 or higher on the internet-based TOEFL, A score of Band 5.5 (overall) on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
