The information systems major at SAU is a great fit for the tech-savvy student who has a mind for the business world. The strength of the major is its combination of technology skills with a thorough grounding in all the functional areas of business. Information Systems graduates are valuable assets for a wide range of specialized fields, from accounting and marketing to engineering and medicine. Currently, information systems alumni from SAU are employed with firms such as Murphy USA, Acxiom, and Farm Bureau Insurance of Arkansas.
What to expect
In the first two years, students take a broad range of classes both in the Rankin College of Business and across campus. In the students’ final two years, courses focus more on the degree. Students are assigned a member of the information systems faculty as an advisor to help with class scheduling, professional mentoring, and career placement.
Job placement
The Rankin College of Business has a strong record of job placement for graduates in all fields, and information systems majors are no exception.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students must have official transcripts listing courses, examinations, grades, and marks from your high school or college/university. A score of 500 or higher on the written TOEFL, A score of 173 or higher on the computerized TOEFL, A score of 61 or higher on the internet-based TOEFL, A score of Band 5.5 (overall) on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
