Solve Challenges in Human, Animal and Environmental Health
If you’re interested in the study of life processes in all living things, from their molecular composition and function to their interaction with the environment, the Biology Scholar Plan from University of Houston-Clear Lake combines undergraduate and graduate coursework in a competitive environment. The Biology Scholars Plan combines the B.S. degree plan in Biology with M.S. degree plans in Biology or Biotechnology with the intention of allowing highly motivated and qualified students to complete both the B.S. and M.S. degrees in biology in a timely and cost efficient manner.
Combine Scientific Theory with Hands-on Lab and Field Experience
Your coursework in the Scholars Plan will give help you acquire the discipline and rigor needed to take on an independent role in research. You are expected to begin a graduate research project early in your studies. After admission to the Scholars Plan and successful completion of the B.S. degree in Biology, the Biology Program Graduate Admissions committee will consider waiving the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) requirement for admission into the Biology Graduate Program.

為來自中國的學生設計 Applicants who have attended an institution located outside the United States must: Possess the equivalent of a U.S. high school/secondary diploma. Proof of English Language Proficiency: Your minimum scores must be: 550 on the paper-based TOEFL exam; 79 on the TOEFL (iBT) exam; 6.0 on the IELTS exam, 53 on the PTE exam; or, you can successfully complete level 112 in the ELS Intensive English Language program.
