The Master of Arts in Communication Studies graduate program is designed for students wishing to apply advanced communication perspectives, methodologies, and competencies in their careers and in their respective fields of study. The program prepares students to be effective and ethical communication professionals, educators, and scholars.
The Master of Arts in Communication Studies is designed for students who wish to advance from this degree to further graduate work and for those wishing to apply advanced communication perspectives, methodologies, and competencies in their careers.
An MA in Communication Studies requires four core classes with capstone options including thesis, project, or the comprehensive exam.
Full time graduate status is two classes per term. Rarely do we offer summer graduate classes. We do not offer an online program. The program is designed for completion in two years once students achieve classified status; however, students may take up to seven years to complete the degree.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants who have obtained a earned a degree comparable to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree, you’re eligible to apply as a graduate student. GPA requirement: Have attained a grade-point average of at least 2.5 in the last 90 quarter (60 semester units) units attempted. English requirement: TOEFL (iBT 79/80 or PBT 550), IELTS (General: 6.0 total band score).
