在這里學什么?
This program is for students with strong professional interest in design; desire to select a concentration and specialize in either Interface Design, Motion, 3D, or Marketing; and desire to complete a capstone thesis project in design.
Our design area, having proudly taught graphic design for many years, giving the opportunity for our students to gain creative, exciting, and fulfilling jobs in the graphic design sector, has expanded it's offerings, to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving creative sector and jobs market. Our BFA in Design program [from Fall 2020] now offers concentrations in Interface Design (formerly known as graphic design), 3D Design (modelling and animation), Motion Design (motion graphics, video editing, augmented reality and virtual reality), as well as Marketing (following our long tradition of collaborating with the Department of Marketing on campus).
Our programs prepare students to participate fully in the design industry of today; both in traditional media and in cyberspace. Students are trained on state-of-the-art equipment in synergy with courses in branding, advertising, marketing, and communications. Students also receive traditional training in typography, packaging design, and brand identity. They also learn to design for clients interested in developing new identities (branding), new products and expressing new visions in all forms of media. All of this combined with newer design areas, such as VR/AR, UX/UI, and digital fabrication prepare our students to be multi-faceted designers with a broad range of skills and experience to meet the needs of a changing creative environment.
