The MAE in Counseling has two concentrations and meets the educational requirements for licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and in states with reciprocal licensure agreements. The Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) accredits both the Clinical Mental Health Counseling and the Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling concentrations in the Counseling master's degree program.

Joint Undergraduate Master's Program (JUMP)
This degree offers a Joint Undergraduate Master's Program (JUMP) which provides academically outstanding students the opportunity to complete both an undergraduate and graduate degree in approximately five years.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have completed a U.S. baccalaureate degree or higher, or equivalent international degree, from an accredited institution, Baccalaureate degree cumulative GPA (Grade Point Average) of 2.75 or greater on a 4.0 scale. English Language Requirements: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) minimum score of 79 (internet-based) or 550 (paper-based); International English Language Testing System (IELTS) minimum score of 6.5; successful completion of the English Language Services Program at Level 112; or successful completion of English as a Second Language International (ESLI) at WKU.
