The French Program in the Department of Modern Languages offers major and minor programs in French, Teacher Certification in French, and an MAT in Education with an emphasis on French. A regular rotation of courses are offered on the WKU Main Campus in Bowling Green. Many students of French also develop their proficiency by studying abroad. French can be combined with almost any other major to help increase your career opportunities.

French Major
Thirty-six (36) semester hours are required in this major (reference number 665). Some of the required course work may be accomplished through CLEP or AP credit. Study abroad is strongly recommended. A minor or second major is required.
