The Master of Arts program in Spanish affords an opportunity for specialized work in Spanish linguistics, Peninsular and Latin American Literature, and in the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. The program is of particular value to those who plan to teach Spanish at the secondary school level (or already do so) or in a community college, and to those who plan to continue working toward a doctorate in Spanish.
Program Requirements
Select two of the following:
- SPAN 110 Survey of Spanish Literature to 1800
- SPAN 111 Survey of Spanish Literature from 1800 to the Present
- SPAN 123 Topics in Spanish Literature
- SPAN 220A Spanish Literature in the Middle Ages
- SPAN 220B Spanish Literature in the Golden Age
- SPAN 220C Spanish Literature in the 18th and 19th Centuries
- SPAN 220D Contemporary Spanish Literature

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must possess the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor degree to apply for a graduate program. English Proficiency Exam (only one of the following is required): TOEFL: minimum 80 ibt or 550 pbt; IELTS: minimum 6.5; and PTE Academic: minimum 65.
