St. John’s University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences offers graduate programs leading to a Master of Science in Toxicology and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a concentration in Toxicology.
Toxicology is the study of the adverse effects of chemical, physical or biological agents on people, animals and the environment with the goal of enhancing the overall safety and health of the public. The program prepares students for careers in research, academia, regulatory agencies and industry.
Coursework covers a broad range of disciplines including mechanistic toxicology, environmental toxicology, analytical toxicology, regulatory toxicology and safety assessment. Graduate students engaged in research work closely with faculty who are experts in their respective fields and have active research programs in areas such as pulmonary toxicology, neurotoxicology, analytical toxicology, environmental toxicology, renal toxicology, molecular toxicology, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals.

為來自中國的學生設(shè)計 Applicants must have an evidence of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university including official transcripts from each institution attended. English Language Requirements: TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) examination. Successful candidates present a score of 500 on the paper-based test; 173 on the computerized test; 61 on the internet based test; or 5.0 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
