專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？
Students focus on financial decision-making in a corporate environment, the functioning of financial markets and institutions, methods of financing business operations, and security selection and portfolio management. The Gerard S. Cassidy ’80 Capital Markets Training Laboratory features nine Bloomberg terminals that provide access to real-time and historical price information and analysis on equities, fixed income securities, derivative contracts, and foreign exchange.
Graduates pursue careers in commercial and investment banking, financial advising and portfolio management, financial research, and corporate finance.
In addition to their major, students may also choose to specialize in a concentration. The Maine Business School currently offers three concentrations:
- Entrepreneurship
- International Business
- Business Information Systems
Entrepreneurship
In the Entrepreneurship concentration, students learn important topics that will assist them in starting their own company or managing a small business.
International Business (IB)
IB is for students whose business interests are global. IB has the most requirements of any concentration, so students must plan carefully with their advisor.
Business Information Systems
A concentration in Business Information Systems is meant for students whose interests are in information systems design, development, and management.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Clear, legible photocopy of graduation certificate or diploma issued by the Ministerio de Educación and Academic transcripts indicating all subjects taken and grades obtained. Students must have completed secondary/high school or university work. English language requirement: TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) – minimum score of 79 (iBT) or 550 (paper-based test); IELTS (International English Language Testing System) – minimum score of 6.5; PTE (Pearson Test of English) – minimum score of 53.
