The Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary Mathematics Concentration Program, leading to initial teaching certification in Mathematics grades 6-12, is a 37 credit hour program. The program is intended for students with a BA or BS in Mathematics or an equivalent degree (e.g., Engineering) who wish to earn teacher certification with the State of Michigan.
