The Master of Arts in Teaching - Secondary Chemistry Concentration leading to an initial teaching endorsement in chemistry grades 6-12, is a 39-40 credit hour program. The program is intended for students with a BA or BS in chemistry or an equivalent degree who wish to earn teacher certification with the State of Michigan.
Degree Requirements: 39-40 hours
Chemistry Content Courses: 6-7 hours
Any CHEM elective in consultation with advisor 2-3 hrs CHEM 620 - Chemical Safety in the Research Environment 1 hr
