The Bachelor of Science in Aviation Flight Technology program is designed to prepare individuals for positions as entry-level professional pilots in the aviation industry. Based on the needs of the aviation industry, the program encompasses a path that takes an individual from student pilot to certified flight instructor.
The degree includes a number of specialized courses that incorporate aviation business and management skills, safety, human factors, weather, aerodynamics, aviation law and regulations, and crew resource management. Students may also complete a FAA Aircraft Dispatch Certification component.
