Why choose this course?
The course provides you with the opportunity to study the breadth of Forensic Science whilst allowing you to maximise your potential by selecting more than one specialised topic such as: Forensic Genetics; Fire Scene Investigation; Drug Analysis or Forensic Mark Comparison.
What happens on the course?
You will study a number of core and optional theory and practical based modules over two semesters with an extended research project in the third semester. Typical modules include: Professional Skills in Forensic Science, Forensic Entomology, Forensic Anthropology, Evidence Gathering at Fire Scenes, Investigating Drug Crime: from Scene to Court, Forensic Mark Comparison, Research Methods, Research project.
Career Paths
This course will equip you with the relevant scientific and transferable skills for a range of employment options in the forensic science sector including independent providers of forensic analysis, police scientific work, insurance companies, or in the forensic analysis of foods and water or in other laboratory-based work.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students who have completed a 4 year Bachelor degree from a NARIC or government recognised institution and can provide both a bachelor degree certificate and graduation certificate are eligible for entrance onto Master’s degrees: A score of 75% is considered comparable to a UK 2:1; A score of 65% is considered comparable to a UK 2:2; A score of less than 65% is considered comparable to a UK 3 and would require the completion of a pre-masters course. English language requirements vary by course and department but the standard University requirement is 6.0 with 5.5 in every component in IELTS or the same scores in the University’s own entry test, the Wolverhampton English Proficiency Examination (WEPE).
