The Master of Arts degree in Psychological Science is an intermediate degree required of students in the doctoral program and offers specialization in behavioral neuroscience, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology and health psychology. The program is strongly research-oriented.
Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates of this program will be able to:
- Demonstrate mastery of the current theories and significant empirical findings in a major area of psychological science. Mastery includes acquiring both an understanding of these materials as well as the ability to think critically about them.
- Teach courses in psychological science.
- Supervise and mentor undergraduate students in both research settings and in the classroom.
- Design, execute, analyze and report empirical studies that make a significant contribution in a major area of psychological science.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Student must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Minimum 3.000 graduate GPA on a 4.000 point scale (minimum 3.250 graduate GPA is recommended). Applicants must obtain a minimum score of TOEFL Paper Based Test is 550 (79 on the Internet based version), the minimum score of MELAB is 77 or IELTS minimum score of 6.5 and the minimum score of PTE academic is 58.
