The Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Managerial Marketing prepares students to be marketing practitioners by helping them to fully develop the analytical, decision-making and communications (written and oral) skills used and valued by individuals working in this field. Faculty engage each student in active learning through hands-on assignments, case studies, projects with real businesses, and dynamic interactions with the faculty member and other students in the classroom. Each course aims to strengthen writing skills by emphasizing logical flow, persuasiveness and succinctness. Because coursework is sequential and integrated, each course builds upon prior classes to give students a comprehensive body of knowledge, skills and abilities. The objective of this program is to educate students to function effectively in business environments where they will have to make autonomous decisions and be required to take action on their own initiative.
Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates of this program will be able to:
- Demonstrate, through the creation of marketing plans, their ability to make marketing decisions based on the collection, evaluation, analysis and integration of data from multiple sources.
- Demonstrate their ability to conduct financial analyses appropriate for marketing managers.
- Segment markets and identify target markets and understand how positioning for a brand is created.
- Demonstrate their ability to analyze markets and competitors within markets.
- Exercise skills in analytical thinking, written and oral communication, data collection and analysis, basic financial analysis, interpersonal skills (including networking and teamwork), ethical decision making and computer applications.
Graduates of all Bachelor of Business Administration programs will be able to:
- Recall strategic frameworks that are used to make business decisions.
- Perform basic calculations using quantitative tools that are used to support business decisions.
- Articulate and deliberate their ideas in writing.
- Articulate and deliberate their ideas orally.
- Identify ethical dilemmas and stakeholders.
- Recommend alternatives and consequences and choose a reasoned conclusion from the alternatives given.
- Identify global factors in making a business decision.
- Analyze global factors in making a business decision.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) New freshmen applicants must finish secondary school in their home country by the time of enrollment to be eligible for university (comparable to the completion of senior high school in the U.S.). Freshmen should meet the minimum requirement of GPA 2.5 on a U.S. 4.0 scale. Applicants must obtain a minimum score of TOEFL Paper Based Test is 525 (71 on the Internet based version), the minimum score of MELAB is 75 or IELTS minimum score of 6.0 and the minimum score of PTE academic is 48.
