The mission of the project management program is to provide a rigorous learning experience with a comprehensive foundation in the principles of project management. The curriculum is designed to help students obtain technical skills and knowledge, become leaders in project management, and develop strategic and business management expertise. Throughout the program, students incorporate core concepts, tools, and techniques of the project management professions and their practical application.
Global Classroom
Global classrooms utilize students’ diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and professional experience to create a collaborative platform for exchanging ideas and forming long-lasting professional relationships across the world.
STEM Designation
The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) designation is assigned to programs that have quantitative/technical focus and enable students to participate in a longer optional practical training post-graduation.
Expertise of Industry Professionals
The program faculty are project management experts and practitioners in the field across for-profit, not-for-profit, non-governmental organizations, and educational institutions. Using their knowledge and experience, they teach, mentor, and guide students.
Online or Onsite Options
This program can be completed fully online or onsite. Regardless of which option you choose, you’ll be immersed in the NYU learning community. You’ll be taught by top experts in the field, while regularly having the opportunity to hear from guest lecturers, work on projects and network with classmates from around the world, and take advantage of the NYUSPS Wasserman Center's stellar career development services in addition to a plethora of NYU resources.
