Gain intensive conservatory training in solo, chamber, and orchestral repertoire while completing a full liberal arts education. You’ll find a multitude of opportunities for performance and collaboration, including our three orchestras and numerous chamber ensembles. Work closely with our faculty to maximize your potential as a musician and prepare for a fulfilling career as a working artist.
As a student in our program, you'll benefit from small classes with personal attention and guidance from your teachers in both music and the liberal arts, including introductory study of the humanities, social sciences, and scientific inquiry. You will complete core music classes, including music history, music theory, aural comprehension, and keyboard harmony and improvisation; and present full-length recitals in your junior and senior years. You'll also have the opportunity to take elective classes in music business, music technology, jazz studies, and music education, positioning you to be a leader and an entrepreneur in the ever-evolving world of music.
