在這里學(xué)什么？
Work closely with our faculty of internationally recognized composers, and receive intensive training in music composition, technology, and contemporary trends of music for media. Your music will be premiered in multiple concerts, participate in scoring recording sessions, and collaborate with filmmakers, game designers, and journalists.
What You’ll Learn
You will complete a range of liberal arts core courses, music core courses, and screen scoring specific courses, working closely with renowned composition faculty. You will be able to choose from a wide range of electives in Music Composition and Songwriting, Music Technology, Music Business, and any other discipline offered at NYU. You’ll master current music technology such as software, sample libraries, synthesizers, and audio processors to produce music that is ready for the media industry.
Every semester, you will work individually with a composer from our faculty in the private lessons. You will also work closely with your advisor to achieve your personal and professional goals. In addition, our dedicated faculty and staff will work with you in the opportunities that we offer such as collaborations and recording sessions.
You'll be actively involved in the performance of your works – in concerts and readings by NYU performing ensembles, and chamber groups specially hired for composition concerts – and collaborate with performers, dancers, and actors at NYU and throughout NYC.
