Gain intensive performance training at a renowned liberal arts university and prepare for a career as a professional brass musician. Study one-on-one with artist faculty and gain experience performing in a multitude of ensembles, including playing standard orchestral repertoire and new music with the NYU Symphony and Chamber Orchestra.
What you'll learn:
Your undergraduate studies will consist of a range of liberal arts core courses, including introductory study of the humanities, social sciences, science, and quantitative reasoning, as well as a broad foundation of music theory and history, aural comprehension, and keyboard harmony and improvisation.
You can also adapt your degree to fit your goals and talents through electives in music business, music technology, jazz studies, and music education.
