The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Social Work (BSSW) Program prepares students to provide services to individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities, including case management, assessments, treatment planning, and goal setting. Students learn the foundation social work skills and theories that assist clients in their daily lives. The Program emphasizes the ability to work with diverse clients in a variety of settings and examines how individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities impact one another. Students develop critical thinking skills and become familiar with research-based practice as well as social justice issues. Students may complete the BSSW on a full-time or part-time basis. The BSSW Program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
