The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology provides quality general education in the psychological sciences. The curriculum reflects current trends in the science, theory and practice of psychology. Undergraduates may pursue the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in psychology as a liberal arts degree, in preparation for graduate or professional training in psychology, social work, education, law, medicine, business, and other disciplines and/or to work in para-professional jobs under the direction of licensed or certified professionals. The program consists of 120 credit hours, including completion of the university core curriculum, courses in five key sub-disciplines within psychology (experimental, social, applied, personality/abnormal, developmental), statistics, research methods/lab courses, and electives.
