The (B.S.) degree in Physics prepares students for careers in research, industry, government, graduate study in physics, engineering, or material science. Students may work with the Department's faculty members in their research labs. Some students present the results of their research at national conferences and publish them in journals. The Department's many laboratories are well equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation.
