Designed for students seeking intensive and specialized professional training in chamber music. Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in piano or its equivalent, along with substantial solo and ensemble repertoire.
Curriculum
The Master of Music in Chamber Music: Piano requires a total of 30 credits. Coursework to include:
Private piano lessons Piano Chamber Music Piano Accompanying & Duo Repertoire Non-performance SMTD electives, including Survey of Piano Chamber Music Literature
Final Project
A presentation of two full-length recitals to include:
Duo works for piano and another instrument Major works for piano and chamber ensemble (trios, quartets, quintets, etc.)
Students may elect to pursue a double-major in Chamber Music & Performance, which may be completed in two years.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must complete a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association; or Complete an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned. Other English Language Requirements: Paper/Pencil TOEFL & TWE score of 560; MELAB score of 80.
