Designed to train talented and purposeful students for the physical and mental demands of theatre, the program focuses on developing acting, voice, movement, and stage combat skills while also providing a solid liberal arts education.
Curriculum
The Bachelor in Fine Arts in Theatre Performance: Acting requires a minimum of 122 credits: coursework is 67% within SMTD and 33% within the liberal arts. Performance training focuses on basic action/objective principles, improvisation, classical and contemporary theatre, collaboration and ensemble. The core curriculum includes acting, voice and speech, dialects, movement and stage combat classes that allow students to test for Society of American Fight Directors adjudicated skills proficiency.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Other English Language Requirements: MELAB (plus speaking): 85 range with section scores 80+ and 3+ in speaking; TOEFL (PBT): 600 range with section scores 57+; ECPE: Certificate with all sections at least a C; CAE or CPE: 185 with no less than 180+ in all sections (CEFR C1);PTE Academic: 68 with all sections equally strong.
