UMSL Cyber Start Grant for Fall 2020 - Under this scheme, F1 international students who are unable to report to campus this fall due to COVID19 are able to pay a reduced rate of tuition. ? This will only be for the Fall 2020 semester as the students should be on campus in Spring 2021 paying regular rates. ? Any UMSL Global scholarship awarded for Fall 2020 would be deferred until Spring 2021. ? Students must be enrolled in a degree program conducive to online learning.
The purpose of the program in Health and Physical Education is to prepare future and practicing teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to teach Physical Education in the schools. From a base of scientific knowledge relating to human movement, bodily adaptations to exercise and activity, and the psychological processes of learning skills and developing lifestyle behaviors, the program emphasizes the development of professional skills in the teaching/learning processes that lead to the promotion of healthful and physically active lifestyles in children and youth.
Full Degree Title: Bachelor of Science in Education in Physical Education, emphasis in PK-12
A 124 hour program resulting in a BSED degree in Physical Education and Missouri teacher certification in PE

Students who have completed high school must submit final transcripts and degree certificates or exam results. Students who have studied at a college or university must submit university transcripts to date. If you have completed more than 24 credit hours at a university, you do not need to submit high school transcripts. Transcripts are required from all high schools or universities attended. Proof of English proficiency: Minimum requirements are 61 TOEFL, 5.5 IELTS, or 44 PTE-A, 85-90 Duolingo.
