The MM in Music Education requires 34 semester hours. At least one half the works credited toward the degree must be in 600-level courses or above. A diagnostic examination is administered prior to the first semester of enrolment. Students complete their MM Portfolio either during the semester or during the semester prior to the final semester or during the final semester. The portfolio demonstrates advanced competencies of teaching music.
