The Recreation and Parks Management degree teaches skills in management, leadership, program planning, community inclusion, healthy living, and evaluation for all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Specialties within this growing field are gerontology, youth organizations, parks and forestry, public recreation, specialized facility management, commercial enterprising, therapeutic recreation, sports management, resource management, and administration.
Degree Outcomes
Graduates work as therapeutic recreation specialist, recreation programmer, aquatic therapist, athletic program supervisor, inclusion facilitator, campus recreation coordinator, community centre manager, event planner, park manager, senior centre coordinator, and youth activity director.
Graduates enter masters and doctoral programs at universities including The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, East Carolina University, North Carolina State University, Winston-Salem State University, Elon University, Clemson University, Indiana University, and University of Tennessee.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Students must have completed a high school diploma and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required; preferred 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 GPA scale. UNCG accepts the following English Language Proficiency results for direct entry: IBT TOEFL 79 minimum; IELTS 6.5 minimum; ELS 112 score report; PTE Academic 53 minimum; and Level 5 Certificate – American Language Academy (ALA).
