Program Learning Outcomes

- Reading, evaluating and synthesizing primary scholarship.
- Applying, critiquing, and/or extending communication focused theory and scholarship.
- Actively engaging in, reflecting upon and analyzing communication processes in their local and/or global communities.
Graduate Studies Mission Statement
We invite students into a life of scholarly inquiry and engaged citizenship with a focus on social justice. We use multiple approaches for the advanced study of communication processes to understand complex human problems and discern ethical choices in local and global communities. Our program prepares students for diverse careers that benefit from advanced training in communication including teaching and careers in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) An applicant must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and the equivalent major coursework for the program area to which application is made. English language requirement: Minimum score of 550 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 80 on the internet-based (iBT) test; International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.5 overall band score; Pearson Test of English (PTE): minimum score of 55.
