The College of Letters & Science and the Lubar School of Business offers a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. The program is designed to provide students with the essential theoretical and practical knowledge and skills needed to be successful in managing and leading nonprofit sector organizations.
Courses address the full range of skills needed to serve nonprofit organizations effectively, including financial management, resource development, governance, organizational leadership, and program planning and accountability. Both students and instructors in the program include experienced professionals representing a wide spectrum of nonprofit organizations.
Candidates for the MS in Nonprofit Management and Leadership may be:
- Nonprofit professionals seeking to advance their careers;
- Other professionals preparing to transition into the nonprofit sector as part of a career change;
- Graduate students seeking to add a nonprofit focus to their other graduate studies; or
- Recent college graduates just beginning their nonprofit careers.
The MS in Nonprofit Management and Leadership degree requires satisfactory completion of 39 credits of graduate-level course work including 33 credit-hours of required courses and 6 credit-hours of elective courses.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants for admission to the UWM Graduate School must have the following: A baccalaureate degree or its equivalent as determined by the UWM Centre on International Education, from a regionally accredited institution, completed before the first term of enrolment in the Graduate School. Students applying to approved integrated bachelor’s/master’s programs are exempt from this requirement, A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, or an equivalent measure on a grading system that does not use a 4.0 scale. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) results with a minimum required score of 79 on the Internet-based TOEFL (IBT) and a minimum recommended sub-score of 18 in each skill). IELTS (International English Language Testing System) results with a minimum required score of 6.5, with minimum recommended sub-score of 6.0 in each skill.
