Professional Science Track
The knowledge, hands-on experience and connections you build here make you the person everyone wants to hire for the jobs creating a better water future. No thesis required for graduation. Instead, you’ll intern with a water-related business, government or non-profit organization to launch your career while you’re still in school.

Thesis Track
Then consider the possibilities of an interdisciplinary research-based program to prepare you for careers in research and industry, or a doctoral degree. Thesis track students work closely with faculty and scientists to conduct original research, develop new technologies, inform water policy, and advance our understandings of complex freshwater systems and issues.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants for admission to the UWM Graduate School must have the following: A baccalaureate degree or its equivalent as determined by the UWM Centre on International Education, from a regionally accredited institution, completed before the first term of enrolment in the Graduate School. Students applying to approved integrated bachelor’s/master’s programs are exempt from this requirement, A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, or an equivalent measure on a grading system that does not use a 4.0 scale. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) results with a minimum required score of 79 on the Internet-based TOEFL (IBT) and a minimum recommended sub-score of 18 in each skill). IELTS (International English Language Testing System) results with a minimum required score of 6.5, with minimum recommended sub-score of 6.0 in each skill.
