Accountants are valued for the crucial data they provide to help businesses plan operations and monitor performance. The field of accounting requires individuals to have a broad perspective of technical, managerial and social policy issues, as well as critical thinking and problem solving skills.
The MS in Management – Accounting program is designed for students who have obtained baccalaureate degrees in fields other than accounting. The program emphasizes the development of both accounting skills and graduate-level Application of theory, preparing students for mid- to senior level positions through a curriculum examining managerial accounting, taxation, accounting information systems, auditing, and business law. Completion of the degree satisfies the requirements to write the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) examination.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants for admission to the UWM Graduate School must have the following: A baccalaureate degree or its equivalent as determined by the UWM Centre on International Education, from a regionally accredited institution, completed before the first term of enrolment in the Graduate School. Students applying to approved integrated bachelor’s/master’s programs are exempt from this requirement, A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, or an equivalent measure on a grading system that does not use a 4.0 scale. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) results with a minimum required score of 79 on the Internet-based TOEFL (IBT) and a minimum recommended sub-score of 18 in each skill). IELTS (International English Language Testing System) results with a minimum required score of 6.5, with minimum recommended sub-score of 6.0 in each skill.
