Healthcare administrators are skilled professionals who manage hospitals, healthcare organizations and a variety of other services. To make effective decisions, healthcare administrators must understand the basic business principles and tools related to finance, information systems, strategic planning, human resource management and marketing.
Are you interested in taking your healthcare administration career to the next level? Healthcare is the largest and fastest changing industry in the U.S., and our program fully prepares graduates to enter management positions with the knowledge to make a difference when managing medical information and healthcare staff in all areas of the industry, and in doing so, provide excellent healthcare quality and value.
There are three options for the MHA
Face-to-face program (39 credits required for graduation)
All courses are offered in face-to-face sections; 30 credits of required courses, a 3-credit internship, and 6 credits of electives are required.
Online program (39 credits required for graduation)
All courses are offered online; 30 credits of required courses, a 3-credit internship, and 6 credits of electives are required.
Executive Online program (33 credits required for graduation)
All courses are offered online; 30 credits of required courses and a 3-credit internship are required. Admission to the Executive Online program requires previous health related administrative experience and an advanced professional degree. Examples of acceptable degrees include MBA, PharmD, PhD, MD, JD, DO, DPT, and APRN.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants for admission to the UWM Graduate School must have the following: A baccalaureate degree or its equivalent as determined by the UWM Centre on International Education, from a regionally accredited institution, completed before the first term of enrolment in the Graduate School. Students applying to approved integrated bachelor’s/master’s programs are exempt from this requirement, A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, or an equivalent measure on a grading system that does not use a 4.0 scale. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) results with a minimum required score of 79 on the Internet-based TOEFL (IBT) and a minimum recommended sub-score of 18 in each skill). IELTS (International English Language Testing System) results with a minimum required score of 6.5, with minimum recommended sub-score of 6.0 in each skill.
