The Master of Education in Higher Education Administration program at UTSA prepares social justice focused and culturally competent practitioner-scholars for leadership positions in higher education and student affairs. This program promotes critical, introspective knowledge construction, the integration of personal and professional knowledge, and engagement in a learning community to mutually construct diverse perspectives.
Students in this program will develop: critically conscious perspectives to work in complex, diverse environments; the ability to connect theory and research with professional practice; leadership skills that help advance careers in higher education; insights and skills from 300 hours of experiential learning (supervised internships); local, regional, and national professional networks.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates of this program have a wide range of career opportunities in areas such as: student activities, academic advising, diversity and inclusion, career planning and placement, admissions, judicial affairs, financial aid, international programs, multicultural services, orientation programs, residence life/ housing, early academic intervention programs, and community outreach.
PROGRAM OPTIONS
This is a cohort-based, 36-credit hour degree program. All courses are offered in the evenings.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Earned a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited xadcollege or university in the United States or have proof of equivalent training at a foreign institution. A minimum grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) from an awarded master's or bachelor's degree may be admitted with no conditions. TOEFL Internet 79, TOEFL Paper 60, IELTS 6.5.
