The Master of Education in Educational leadership is a social justice and equity-oriented program that focuses on developing personal, professional, and community leadership skills. We prepare student-centered leaders to understand and address complex and systemic issues that continue to impact educational effectiveness, equity, and achievement. Our students establish lifelong personal and professional networks through a model that bands them together in coursework throughout their program.
Students in the program benefit from our faculty’s close connections with local school districts, superintendents, principals, non-profits, advocacy groups, and government leaders while expanding their professional networks as they work alongside other dedicated educators and advocates. By developing student-centered leaders, our graduates are prepared to understand and address complex and systemic issues that continue to impact educational effectiveness, equity, and achievement.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates of the program can find career opportunities such as: instructional coaches, assistant principal, principal, district level curriculum coordinator and leader, program director, policy makers, policy advocates, assistant and deputy superintendent (with superintendent certification), and other central office administrative positions.

The M.Ed. in Educational Leadership is a 36-hour, cohort-based program that includes three emphasis areas:
Educational Leadership (meets K-12 principal certification requirements)
Educational Policy and Advocacy*
Teacher Leadership*

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Earned a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited xadcollege or university in the United States or have proof of equivalent training at a foreign institution. A minimum grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) from an awarded master's or bachelor's degree may be admitted with no conditions. TOEFL Internet 79, TOEFL Paper 60, IELTS 6.5.
