In the Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction program, students will work in an environment that fosters an understanding of engagement in curriculum and instruction theory, research, practice, policy and critical issues. The program stresses the concepts of curricular innovation and teaching excellence while expanding students’ knowledge of content fields and applied research. This degree offers flexibility to educators of all subject areas and levels to pursue coursework in their area of interest for professional development.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
The M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction supports educators of all levels, from early childhood through adult education. The program prepares administrators, curriculum coordinators, and specialists for their roles in schools or other settings where training is developed and presented. Students in this degree have the flexibility to take courses in a specific subject area in order to work towards the credentials to teach dual credit courses at their schools. Graduates are marketable in a variety of after-school programs, non-profit organizations, museums, textbook publishing companies, and education testing organizations.

為來自中國的學生設計 Earned a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited xadcollege or university in the United States or have proof of equivalent training at a foreign institution. A minimum grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) from an awarded master's or bachelor's degree may be admitted with no conditions. TOEFL Internet 79, TOEFL Paper 60, IELTS 6.5.
