Do you enjoy being on the forefront of new technologies? Are you interested in developing skills that will address the problems of geography, cartography, climate change, global environment, health, and other issues related to spatial data science and engineering? UTSA’s Multidisciplinary Studies degree in Geoinformatics will provide you with the skills to create, manage and analyze spatial data on the Earth’s surface and beyond.
Geoinformatics
Geoinformatics offers a multidisciplinary curriculum that draws on several areas of study like computer science, geography, geological sciences, anthropology, civil engineering, environmental science, architecture and urban planning.
Geoinformatics generates accurate real-time maps of the earth’s geography by using spatial data science, geographic information system, and remote sensing technologies to better understand spatial patterns and changes over time. Companies like Google, Amazon, Uber, and many business and governmental agencies use the information provided from geoinformatics to make important decisions for societal benefits, scientific research and exploration.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Possess equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma. Minimum 2.5 GPA (4.0 scale). English Language Proficiency: A TOEFL Internet-Based Test (IBT) score of 79 or greater. A TOEFL Paper-Based Test (PBT) score of 550 or greater. An IELTS score of 6.5 or greater. A PTE Academic score of 58 or greater. A Cambridge C1 Advanced minimum scale 180 grade C or higher.
