With a degree in architecture, your passion for sketching, making, and designing reimagine the built environment around you.
UTSA’s Architecture Program
UTSA’s Architecture degree is a four-year, pre-professional degree built around rigorous design studios and comprehensive coursework. All stages of the design process require an ability to think clearly, critically and coherently in order to make persuasive arguments and sensible judgments. Design ideas are established through the iterative process of making, drawing, modeling, fabricating, representing, discussing, reading and writing.
Students and faculty exist and thrive within a collaborative workspace and learning environment specific to our shared creative work. Architecture’s studio culture – the work ethic, relationships, and knowledge that are cultivated throughout the collective design process – form an environment of dialogue and discovery through which issues and ideas, pragmatic concerns, material conditions, technology and process intermingle in the practice of design.
Our aim is to contribute to the structure, utility, and beauty of our built environment, improve the quality of place in our cities, homes, work, and learning spaces, and support a positive relationship between people, buildings, and the environment.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Possess equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma. Minimum 2.5 GPA (4.0 scale). English Language Proficiency: A TOEFL Internet-Based Test (IBT) score of 79 or greater. A TOEFL Paper-Based Test (PBT) score of 550 or greater. An IELTS score of 6.5 or greater. A PTE Academic score of 58 or greater. A Cambridge C1 Advanced minimum scale 180 grade C or higher.
