UTSA’s Art Program
UTSA students seeking an Art degree choose between two distinct National Association of Schools of Art and Design accredited studio art degrees. B.F.A. includes intensive studio coursework along with supportive studies in art history and criticism. The final two years will have you choose between a specialized area in one of the following: ceramics, new media, painting, drawing, photography, printmaking or sculpture. Whether you aspire to become a professional artist, fine arts educator, performer or scholar, a studio art degree from UTSA serves as the perfect opportunity to enhance your creative and contemporary pursuits under a close mentorship.

English Language Proficiency: A TOEFL Internet-Based Test (IBT) score of 79 or greater. A TOEFL Paper-Based Test (PBT) score of 550 or greater. An IELTS score of 6.5 or greater. A PTE Academic score of 58 or greater. A Cambridge C1 Advanced minimum scale 180 grade C or higher.
