The Master's in Education, with an option in Special Education, prepares graduates for K-12 teaching positions to serve students with special needs. This program will benefit teachers seeking competence in instructional and positive behavioral strategies for students with learning/behavioral needs. Upon completion of this program, students will be eligible to apply to the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board for an endorsement in K-12 Special Education.
Program Details
The master's degree program is 33 credit hours for a Plan B project or 41 credit hours for a Plan A thesis. All the classes are taught using distance delivery such as video-conferencing, online, intensive weekends, or combinations of delivery methods. This program is designed for licensed teachers to add a Master’s degree to their qualifications. In addition to the degree, successful students can apply for a teaching endorsement in K-12 Special Education from the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 A bachelor's degree from an accredited or recognized school is required. A cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0 on previous coursework is required for full admission (3.25 for interdisciplinary program applicants). Proof of English Proficiency: A minimum score of 540 on the written exam, or 76 on the Internet-based test; IELTS: A minimum score of 6.0 is required for admission.
