Agricultural business is a flexible, interdisciplinary major that combines the study of business and agriculture. As an agricultural business major, you will have the chance to study government, biology, international studies as well as general business subjects viewed through the lens of the agricultural industry. This wide-ranging program with its opportunities for internships and study abroad gives you an outstanding foundation from which to apply to graduate school, launch a business or begin a career as an innovator working in the agricultural economy.
The agricultural business major gives you an education you can take in almost any direction, from Big agricultural and banking to boutique grain production and marketing. Conduct undergraduate research, study abroad, complete an internship and take advantage of the small classes we offer in which you can get to know your professors. Whether you want to start your own business or promote agricultural goods worldwide, you can take this business-oriented major into a related career, graduate school, law school or a non-agricultural profession.
