在這里學(xué)什么？ **Course summary**- Prepare for the degree with an extra foundation year at the start.- Gain knowledge and understanding of how scientific methods can be used in sport, exercise, and health.- Explore a range of sport and exercise science theories and concepts.- Develop important laboratory skills in physiology, psychology and biomechanics.Work with well-known sporting organisations and examine how the disciplines of scientific research can be used to improve the performance of athletes. You explore how important physical activity and exercise are for a healthy lifestyle in different populations. Performance analysis, strength and conditioning are all areas with growing career opportunities.**How you learn**The course is suitable if you don't meet the entry requirements for our BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science course, or you want extra preparation before starting degree-level study. You share the first year with other sport foundation students, then move on to the degree.The course is specifically designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and attributes required for a professional career within sport or the wider employment sector.**You learn through**- lectures- seminars- tutorials- project supervision- demonstration- practical classes and workshops- workshop or studio time- field trips- external visitsIn the foundation year, you build your Sport and Exercise Science interest and knowledge alongside developing your academic skills. You receive face-to-face feedback regularly during your modules in order to prepare you for the completion of your assignments. This will be via tasks set for you to undertake in the module seminars or in your independent study time.**Applied learningWork placements**You will have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement in between your third and fourth years. This gives you a real-world experience to prepare you for your future career. Previous students have worked as strength and conditioning coaches, applied sports scientists, cardiac rehabilitation assistants, physical activity referral specialists and as a performance analyst for a professional sports team. Many of our students choose to complete their placement aboard at a range of sporting organisations around the world.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
