在這里學(xué)什么？ **Course summary**? Learn the skills needed to manage esport event experiences.? Prepare for a career in a multifaceted, exciting field.? Benefit from a unique blend of event management and media training.? Study the essential aspects of journalism, sports reporting, commentary and media management needed for esports.Esports is competitive video gaming where individuals or teams play against each other online and at spectator events. This innovative course blends the established subject areas of event management and journalism with an introduction to esports culture, content creation and business planning. Ultimately, you’ll host your own events — getting valuable experience for an exciting career.**How you learn**A variety of learning and teaching methods are used to help you develop the knowledge, understanding and skills needed for an esports career.The approaches vary between modules. They include formal lectures, seminars, problem-solving exercises, case studies, individual and group presentations and directed learning activities.Throughout, you’ll be taught by subject experts from esports, media and event management.You learn through? active and experiential learning? using critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, creativity and innovation? collaboration and team working? live projects — working with real clients to deliver consultancy-based projects, such as live esports events**Applied learning****Work placements**Work experience is built into this course across all levels, and you will get the opportunity to go on a placement. This gives you a real-world experience to prepare you for your future career.**Live projects**All the courses in the Sheffield Business School include a final year consultancy project. Students on the BA Esports degree course will be working with external clients to host a live esport event.**Networking opportunities**Through the event management HUB, students on the esports degree will be able to participate in the various networking events that we host throughout the year to support students in making industry contacts.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
