在這里學(xué)什么？ - Study your foundation year, then progress to a degree with industry accreditation from the BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT.- Develop the skills to design and secure complex information systems.- Learn to respond appropriately to security incidents by gathering evidence and gaining an understanding of the legal and regulatory environment around complex information systems.After completing your foundation year, you progress to the degree course which is accredited by the British Computer Society, and accordingly includes a number of topics fundamental to all computing studies, including principles of security, computing, architecture and networking, databases and programming.**How you learn**The course is suitable if you don’t meet the entry requirements for our BSc (Hons) Cyber Security with Forensics course, or you want extra preparation before starting degree-level study. You share the first year with other computing foundation year students, then move on to the degree.You will gain practical experience by installing, configuring, securing and troubleshooting a range of computer systems and networking technologies. You will assess systems for vulnerabilities, exploit penetration techniques, assess and implement mitigation solutions.**You learn through**- lectures- seminars- practical tutorial sessionsIn the foundation year, you’ll build on your existing knowledge and experience — developing useful academic, computing and IT skills in preparation for undergraduate study. You’ll benefit from innovative course content that allows you to access and use cutting-edge technology. Throughout, you’ll reflect on your progress, and build valuable communication and interpersonal skills.**Applied learning****Work placements**You will have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement in between your third and fourth years. This gives you a real-world experience to prepare you for your future career.**Live projects**You will undertake an individual project which will enable you to develop your investigative skills in a particular security area of your choice.**Networking opportunities**We include seminars and workshops run by the Institution of Engineering and Technology and by employers such as IBM, BT, Satisnet and Citrix.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
