專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么?
Western Michigan University’s integrated science program is designed for students who want to teach science in grades six through 12. As a student in this program, you’ll have two majors. Your primary major will be biology, chemistry, earth science or physics teaching; your secondary major will be secondary integrated science education.
A statewide and national shortage of qualified middle and high school science teachers has made this a high-demand major, especially in Michigan, where a more integrated approach is taken to middle school science. If you choose integrated science as your major, you will be able to teach courses in a particular discipline as well as more general science courses.
